When the digital landscape extends from the desktop interface to an inescapable ecosystem metaphysically, human perception of nature has already been placed in a new experiential relationship. In response to this, how do we transform digital aesthetics, technological experience, human perception, cultural/social observation, and personal consciousness into unique creative paths?
The Garden of Forking Paths juxtaposes two parallel worlds: the natural and tangible one and the technological mediated one. It also addresses the inconsistency and incompatibility between cultural, technological and human perception in contemporary constructed reality. In Borges' garden of forking paths, the nature of reality, time and space is not linear, but maze-like with many parallel possibilities.
